We automotive enthusiasts have been reading his articles for years, Mike Speck, long time senior editor for Modified Luxury Exotics and Modified magazines, lives in Arizona. He is an instructor at the Bondurant School of High Performance Racing. He is friends with the owners of Evolution MotorSports vis-a-vie, a key part of the Gumpert Racing launch. Mike is helping the Gumpert Racing team develop the Gumpert Experience. That is the soon to be announced program where you fly your G4 into Scottsdale Airpark and spend a day learning to drive the Gumpert apollo before you configure the one you're going to buy from Gumpert Racing. Then, when your car arrives, you take a refresher course in YOUR apollo and then it is shipped to your home or home track!! Can you feel the itch???
In this video, Mike takes a few laps in the apollo before the sun sets and Bondo has to crank up their Kart evening... which is a lot of fun if you haven't been, but, when you're rushing seat time in the apollo, that always sucks, agreed?
Thanks to Mike Speck for always being ready to test and shake out the legs of the apollo or any of the EVOMS or Gumpert Racing projects for that matter...
Here's some awesome pics from Redline MotorSports, Geri Amani
