Correction, first add 10K to the GTO off the lot and to get an auto to a 11.35 @ 127, please add about 15K to that total.

Also, the CGT is not $440k any more, but close. Not sure what value plays into the naming of the video, but from an investment standpoint, the CGT is better. One of only a handfull of cars on the planet that have stayed close to purchase price for 5-6 years. Amazing. It's not what you pay for something, but what you get for it later that matters. But, a fast GTO would be fun too.

Yeah, and it's possible that after another 5 years to be more expensive than the purchase price.

Agreed. I get so tired of people making price the issue of all. I understand it is quite important, but there are other factors. Don't mean to take anything away from thread or the GTO, because it is fast. I thought the CGT was quicker. Looked like a bad start/jump and run.

I think the GTO owner pulled the head light out, giving him the edge.

Don't tell nobody our secrets.
It looked like a crappy run on the CGT and coming from a GTO owner that would be almost identiacal to the time and trap of this one at sea level. I'm pretty sure I wouldnt hesitate to have the CGT if possible.
This video is just to get him some youtube comments and some popularity. As in I guess 440000 doesnt get you enough these days...
CGT whoops the GTOs ass in the "tang" factor as well and that should have been factored in.

Excellent point. The "tang" factor is worth $439k of the total without a doubt. "Tang" is good.

The CGT has to be rolled into 1st gear...you actually slowly release the clutch and then apply throttle. The clutch is somewhat delicate and very expensive to replace. I am in the market for a CGT and I think they will hold value and possibly appreciate in the future. Porsche will probably never build a car like this ever again.
